A great recipe to help get your vegetables in during the pre-op stage or as a side to your choice of protein after surgery.
- Prep: 10 Minutes
- Portions: 2 cups
Ingredients:
- 1 head of broccoli, cut into florets
- 2 tablespoons tamari (or soy sauce)
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 good pinch chilli flakes
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees celcius, fan bake
- Line an oven tray with baking paper and spread the broccoli florets on top
- Drizzle the tamari and olive oil over the broccoli, then sprinkle the chilli flakes on top
- Place the tray in the oven and cook for 20 minutes or until the broccoli is starting to char
- Remove from the oven and season with salt and pepper if desired
