Hot Smoked Salmon and Cream Cheese Cruskit

This is a lovely combo that is soft and easy to eat. It is also high in protein and is a quick and easy option to prepare for any meal of the day.

  • Prep: 5 Minutes
  • Portions: 1 Cruskit

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cruskit (or other crispbread of choice)
  • 1 tbsp lite cream cheese (I used Philadelphia)
  • 2 tsp lemon juice
  • 50g hot smoked salmon, broken into chunks
  • 1 slice of gherkin OR 1-2 cornichons, diced
  • Cracked black pepper to taste

Method:

  1. In a small bowl, mix the cream cheese and lemon juice until combined
  2. Spread the cream cheese on the Cruskit and top with the salmon and gherkin
  3. Season with salt and pepper and serve
