With a combination of protein from the edamame beans and healthy fat from the avocado, this pureed recipe will keep you feeling satisfied with just a small amount. If you’re in the soft-stage or beyond and would prefer a bit more texture, pulse the mix a few times instead of blending until smooth.

Ingredients:
- 1/2 cup shelled, frozen edamame beans
- 1/4 cup fresh basil leaves
- 1 ripe avocado
- 50g feta, crumbled
- 1 tsp lemon zest
- juice of one small lemon
- 1/4 tsp chilli flakes (optional)
- 1/4 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
Method:
- Bring a small saucepan of water to boil
- Once boiling, add the edamame beans and cook for 5 minutes
- Once the edamame beans are cooked, drain and rinse them under cold water to cool them
- Add the edamame beans along with the remaining ingredients into a food processor and blitz until smooth
